How Does a Tree Tent Differ from a Traditional Treehouse?

Unlike traditional treehouses that are built into trees, our Tree Tents are suspended, allowing for a lightweight, non-invasive installation that protects the environment and fully immerses guests in nature. Engineered for year-round comfort, they feature insulation, a wood-fired stove, a skylight, furniture and durable materials. They're also highly customisable; allowing you to configure the colour scheme and layout that works for you.

How Easy Are Tree Tents and Other Structures to Install?

Our accommodations are designed for quick, minimal-impact installation. Most units can be set up in a few days using basic tools, eliminating the need for heavy machinery. Tree Tents require just two sturdy trees and can be installed in under 48 hours. Our in-house team are experts in this (of course!) and can help with all aspects of planning and installation.

Can I Customise my Structure?

Yes! Each of our structures is customisable, and can be branded, too. You can pick from a range of colours, layouts and furnishing options to create your perfect haven. The Okra Dining Pod is also available in 2, 4, 6 or 8 seater options.

And whilst the Tree Tent only comes in one size (3m x 3m - perfect for sleeping 1 to 3 guests), we specialise in making our structures work perfectly with your site. Tree Tent village, anyone? 

Can I insure my Tree Tent structures?

Yes! We have many operators around the world who have insured their structures. From Birdhouse cabins perched on the edge of coastal hills, to our iconic Tree Tents suspended in the trees. 

Here's how we can help with the insurance process: 

• We can provide you with any technical documents your insurer requires. Usually, with a Tree Tent, your insurer will require sign-off from a qualified arborist or from the Tree Tents team - we can do this on install!
• We recommend a rigging check once a year - we can do this ourselves or you can enlist the help of a local arborist.

Some insurers that we recommend are Ansvar, BDB and Nature Save. Get in touch with the team if you need any support at all!
