The Hot Tank is our fun, economic and versatile solution to a hot tub. Its wood-fired, and works completely off-grid; allowing you to customise your space without relying on electrical access (or a huge budget!)
So, put it where your heart desires, and bathe in nature.
Each hot tank comes with a wooden stirring paddle, handmade in our Sussex workshop, to help you get the temperature just right.

All of our creations are handmade to order in our UK workshop, with our lead time being approximately 2-3 weeks. If you're ordering a large quantity, you can contact us at info@treetents.co.uk to check lead times, or alternatively make the order and we can contact you if we have any delays.

Bathe in nature with the Hot Tank. A wood-fired outdoor bath which exists completely off-grid, connecting you with the outdoors, and with pure relaxation. The Hot Tank has a capacity of 495 Litres, gets to temperature in around 10-20 minutes (depending on weather and variants) and is made up of just a few hassle-free components:
- A Hastings Nebraska stock tank
- Drain plug & tank-to-fire pit connections
- Hot tub heater coil, made from 304 stainless steel tubing
- Fireguard & separate laser cut, stainless steel fire pit

FAQ's
How do they work?
The Hot Tank heater coil works using the thermosyphon effect. When connected to the tank, the fire within the coil will heat the water up, making the water less dense. This water will rise through your coil and leave as warmed water back into your tub - so no noisy pumps!
Are they safe?
As long as they're used responsibly, absolutely. We supply an instruction booklet which shows the simple steps you take to use and heat your Hot Tank safely, alongside tips and tricks for a great bathing.
Can the water be heated another way?
If you would rather not go the wood fired route, we also offer an off-grid, gas water heater allowing you to fill your tank just like a bath at home. Email us for costs and details.
