For an immersive outdoor experience, cook over the fire pit, or take advantage of modern comforts like gas hobs, a shower, and a flushing loo if you prefer a more relaxed stay. The pod’s two single beds cleverly fold into sofas for daytime lounging, while chunky outdoor chairs invite you to stargaze before retreating to the remarkable warmth and stability of your ingeniously designed bedroom.

Secluded and serene, the retreat offers a true escape. Just you, the rippling stream, the hooting owls, and the occasional fox or deer. If you need anything, friendly owners Sarah and David are nearby, happy to show you around the farm, introduce you to their large flock of Dorset sheep, or provide maps of their favorite trails. Some wind through their own land, while others lead to charming local pubs and community shops stocked with delicious regional produce. And if you feel like exploring beyond the peaceful woods, you’ll find the market town of Crediton, the surfing beaches of Saunton Sands, and the rugged beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor all within easy reach for a memorable day out.
