In the morning, you climb down the steps to find an off grid, spring fed shower and composting toilet, alongside a simple field kitchen. Move quietly and you might spot deer grazing nearby or catch a glimpse of kingfishers darting along the stream that flows right past your Tree Tent. Beside the water, a fire circle and BBQ invite you to get creative with breakfast, or simply brew a quick coffee before heading out to explore Cornwall.

This peaceful retreat is set within 14 acres of secluded land, shared only with a handful of distant guests. The river is yours to fish or bathe in, while Bodmin Moor stretches in one direction and the sea in the other, offering endless adventure, from canoeing on the Fowey to wandering through quiet villages like Lostwithiel.

As evening falls, a stroll to the local pub offers a taste of civilisation unless you prefer to embrace the wild and cook over an open flame. Then, with torches in hand, you will make your way back through the woods to your secluded, spherical nest among the trees.
