Our Thoughts

Drumadoon is a beautiful area of Scotland which champions the natural world and rewilding. With their focus on eco-friendly tourism, their mission goes hand in hand with that of Tree Tents. The Tree Tents site at Drumadoon is still in development, but there is plenty to explore there in the meantime.

Drumadoon offers a glimpse into Earth’s distant past and human history. The site features notable geological formations dating back millions of years and remnants from historical periods such as the Neolithic, Bronze, Iron Age, and Vikings.

This spectacular property on the isle of Arran hosts many wonderful nature and archeological attributes. We are looking to develop a Tree Tent site as part of a much larger rewilding project, together with leisure and educational facilities focusing on the unique archaeology and ecology of this 640 acre estate.

Whilst we work on the new site, Drumadoon remains a wonderful place to visit. We'll be sure to share the news as it comes!

About Tree Tents

Combining the precision of aeronautical engineering and the romance of wild camping the 3m diameter Tree Tent is a truly special place to hunker down for that all year round, off-grid, wilderness experience. Suspended up in the tree tops the Tree Tent has a minimal impact on its environment but a huge impact with its guests.
