KUKSA SNAPS CUP

£20

Hand carved in Lapland, traditionally salted and cured, these are light, robust, and have better insulating properties than porcelain or enamel, which of course stops them freezing to lips during arctic winters, maybe not such a problem here, but the principle remains and so makes for a warm companion to your spirit of choice.

Product Description

Guksi (or Finnish: kuksa; Swedish: kåsa) is a type of drinking cup traditionally duodji crafted by the Sami people of northern Scandinavia from carved birch burl.

For centuries the beautifully figured birch burl kuksa has been the drinking vessel of the Sami, the indigenous people of far northern Scandinavia.

Can be used for other hot or cold drinks, soups, and stews but this smaller variant makes for the ultimate camping shot glass. Just rinse with cold water and dry after use.

Sustainably handcrafted in Northern Scandinavia to a traditional design.
